I have benn reserching my father's family. I have been told my great grandfather was Choctaw. I have been only able to find the following and wanted to know if anyone else has any information? Any input will be appreciated. from the 1900 census taken 6/1 Richmond county Georgia Ward, Andrew J. husband Ward, Louise M. wife Ward, Henry son age 17 born 1882 from the 1920 census taken January 1 Richmond county Georgia Ward, Henry C. husband age 37 stated his father and mother were born in Georgia Ward, Hattie wife age 29 stated her father and mother were born in South Carolina from the 1920 census taken January 5 Greenville City South Carolina Ward, Louise M. age 77 widowed We know that Henry C. Ward later married Floy Albertie Maxwell and had 4 children starting with the first born in 1933. I'm trying to determine more information about Andrew J. Ward and to determine if he was Choctaw. He was supposed to have told one of my uncles about being from a small town in Mississippi called Philadelphia, but when Henry C.
