I have recently aquired a CD thru the Oklahoma Historical Soicety, which includes databases: Dawes Final Rolls of the Five Civilized Tribes and Index: apps for enrollment, 1896-1897. I am wondering if anyone has used this CD and could perhaps tell me if i am doing something wrong. For example on the census card ( photocopy ) obtained from the OHS for Rufus Winlock , enrollment # 12452...Census card # 4489 shows Rufus and his son, bennie winlock, his stepson, john s. johnson, his former wife, elizabeth johnson,and his dau, bettie winlock....However on the Cd i referred to, the only information displayed from its database are rufus winlock, bennie winlock and john s. johnson. i am just wondering if anyone has used this CD,I emailed the man that put the CD together, but i'm sure he is very busy and I haven't heard from him .. I have this CD from the Oklahoma Historical Society. When it put in just the card no., I get Rufus, Bettie, Bennie, John S. and Elizabeth, all listed as Choctaw by Blood. There is also a Cherokee card no.4489, but I presume that is not applicable here. In the space where it says 'Census Card #', just type in 4489 and see what comes up.
