Dusty, Our Eeds/ Edds ancestors have a deed of land on the Romulas Rd. formally Choctaw rd. form 1839. Would they have been Choctaw or was that to late to be Choctaw? OUR COUSIN STILL LIVE ON THE LAND. Andrew >
Sound like possibly your ancestors purchased the land from a Choctaw who had been awarded a land allotment in 1831. Is there a name of who they purchased the land from on your records? dusty ----- Original Message ----- From: <GardenMax22@aol.com> To: <CHOCTAW-SOUTHEAST-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, August 23, 2002 8:11 AM Subject: [CHOCTAW-SE] Romulas Rd.
