PeggyYellowRose, Regarding Indian and early pioneer cemeteries in Oklahoma, the Poteau Valley Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 1031, Poteau, OK 74953, several years ago published a series of these early cemeteries in eastern Oklahoma. You might write them for information on the volumes. Volume 13 covers some of the LeFlore Co. cemeteries, including Skullyville begun in about 1830; however, there seem to be few of the early graves marked. Also, the Bryan Co. Heritage Assn. Inc., has published several volumes of Bryan Co. , OK, cemeteries. I have Vol. IV, which covers the Pioneer Cemetery and Highland Cemetery in Durant, OK.
