They all look like they are spelled "Hanjo". Now it was signed by Andrew Jackson but as to whether he was the one who wrote up the list or whether it was the captain of the company who made up the list and who, as best as I can make it out, was named "Powas Hanjo", is something I just don't know about. I suspect it waa the captain since it involved many long Indian names. I don't see any that look like they are Choctaw names but at the same time I can't be certain that they aren't Choctaw names. Maybe they are Chickasaw names. They might even be Creek names since some Creeks fought on the side of America against the British but I just don't know.
