Hello Stacie, The auction of this book stirred quite a controversy. It seems that the antique dealer who was attempting to sell it on Ebay chose instead to donate it to the Choctaw museum in Talihina. Please check with Terry Cole in the tribal heritage office. I was told that the seller caught wind of legal proceedings by the tribe to prevent the public sale of this book since it is a governmental record book that is the property of the Choctaw Nation and not legally title-able to private ownership. In actuality, I do not know the final disposition or the behind the scene's story. I was just one of the bidders who was trying to win the auction in order to repatriate the book for our people.
