I'm just beginning my search and I really don't know where to start. My great grandfather's name was John Tillman Johnson and he was born within that time frame. However, all of my father's relatives were born and raised in Arkansas. I don't know of any relatives from Alabama. Sorry I couldn't help you. Sheila
