    2. I recently sent for my grandfather's SSN application. Be warned, there is precious little information on them back around 1938. It took several weeks to arrive. 3. Dear Donna, What is the difference in the 2 different types of social security records that you can get. One is the copy of the social security application SS-5 and the other is an abbreviated NUMIDENT printout which is cheaper. Will both have the parents listed or do you know. Please let me know what information you have on this subject. Thank you. marthjeanp@msn.com Martha Jean Birdsong ----- Original Message ----- From: <MrsSpray@netscape.net> To: <CHOCTAW-SOUTHEAST-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, August 08, 2002 4:43 AM Subject: Re: [CHOCTAW-SE] question > I recently sent for my grandfather's SSN application.
