Born aprox. 2-21-1892 and died aprox. 12-21-1967. He is burried in Mullberry Cemetary in Mullberry TX. I do not know where he was born. He said that his parents were from TN; his mother was said to be a full blood Cherekee native american and his father irish. Also, he had another family before my grandmother Jossie Margrett Sutton in NM about 11-12 children. Then moved to Bandera TX. met my grandmother Jossie and had 10-11 more. So total he fathered about 23 children. He was also in the TX military around 1917 I think and had a medical discharge. But, I have no papers on him. Thank you for any help. Kristen Joiner

Go to google and type Panyouasas family. Although there is not a great deal posted about that family at the Baudreau website, it does show that one lineage connects a Jean Baptiste Baudreau with Marie Pany (Panyouasas). > > From: [email protected] > Date: 2006/04/18 Tue PM 10:09:32 EDT > To: [email protected] > Subject: [CHOCTAW-SE] Re: Indian "Marie" Pany > > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4gC.2ACE/974.1.1.1.1 > > Message Board Post: > > Did anyone come across anymore info on this Panyouasas family from Mobile (Choctaw origins)? I found census records and those Dawes Rolls with my father's relatives, but listed as both Chickasaw or Choctaw. If anyone has any info, send an e-mail to [email protected] or post it here. Thanks! Jan 1900, TX To find out more about James & Julia, I would start with James H. Watson. You know he died between 1910-1920. I would start by looking at cemeteries in Montague and Floyd counties. Julia could be buried next to him, if so you find him you find her. I could not find her in the 1930 census, she could have died or remarried and/or moved out of state or her name could be spelled wrong. Check for obits, once you have dates or a location. This could give you a clue to Julia's maiden name as well. You know when Homer Sutton died, so I would look for an obituary for him. And look for him in the cemeteries of Bandera county to start. Cora may be buried next to him, which would give you the date for her death, if they have a tombstone. Then you could get her obituary. Also obituaries for their kids, especially your grandmother, Josie. If there are any older relatives from this side of the family talking to them first could save you a lot of time. Be specific, ask if they know where they lived, where they are buried, where they married, if they know who the daughters married, etc. If you aren't specific a lot of times they don't think to tell you details like that. Hope this helps you get started. April

I beleave that Cora and her husband (who is Irish) married in Oklahoma moved to Bandera TX and had their family.
