    2. On Card 2619 there is also Sampson Chubbe age 3 who appears to be the Sampson at Armstrong Academy 1910. Also on card 2619 are two sets of parents -- maybe Austin's - John and Celia Chubbe, and maybe Lila's - John and Sally Wilson. Card No 2618 also shows John and Celia Chubbe as parents of Willie. Pat

    2. You probably already have this information, but in the McBride's 1976 book about the LeFlores, Felicity and Samuel were shown as having the following children: Hannah, born ca. 1813: married (1) Anthony Turnbull and (2), James Jordan. Samuel, Jr., dob 18 September 1817; married Jane Reynolds. Jacob, dob. probably a twin to Jospeh, dob ca. 1825: married Jane Cooper. Joseph, name of wife not shown, but McBride's wrote he had 2 daughters, Arabella and Beatris. The name, sex and dob of a 5th child is unknown. 2. Jen Mieirs wrote that she'd told you there was another child, but that you would have to check court records for Felicity's will. She added that the 'county' burned (think she probably meant the county courthouse) and Samuel's records were lost. My mother was raised as an orphan from the age of 6. My 2 brothers Willie and Croft was born in south Arkansas. I had a sister Meg who was bitten by a mad dog in November and died in Feb. The dog also bit my cousin who lived with us Zade Laster but it didn't break the skin. Meg, mom, dad, older sister and little brother are buried in Leslie. My mother had one brother Tom Hibbens. My father's people were from down south Arkansas. My grandfather was killed in the Civil War by the jayhawkers down by Bear Creek. The Zade Laster mentioned is my great grandmother Zada Laster Waters, her mother Nancy was a sister to John Gibbons. Possibly walked the Trail of Tears - more research to confirm this. This can not be true as the Cherokee Trail of Tears was between 1837 and 1838. May 28, 1830 Jackson signed into law the Indian Removal Act, a bill requiring all Indians living east of the Mississippi to leave their homes and be relocated far to the west in what was called Indian Territory. 1830 to 1833, Choctaws moved to Oklahoma (Indian Territory).
