    3. James, I went to Google and typed San Bois county 1885 Census. The 6th "entry" titled census.htm (freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com) had San Bois County. I took just a glance at it, but there are the names of the residents of that county and I assume that's what you are looking for.     3. THAT is the site for which I was looking. Thank you very much Judy, Gwen & Pat and all that have tried to help me. It was sad to see that clicking onto several things did not work, but since you were kind enough to send Rusty's e-mail address, I will try that and see if she has just more or less abandoned the site or what. I also appreciate all the other sites suggested. I know how much work was involved in putting all that on the Internet. I have been fortunate in the fact that I could send many of the Pioneer Papers, etc. that I gathered in research to someone that seems to enjoy putting them on the Internet. I am not sure if it was the 1855 or 1885 census by districts. I have both complete censuses so am not looking for that.
