    2. PeggyYellowRose, Regarding Indian and early pioneer cemeteries in Oklahoma, the Poteau Valley Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 1031, Poteau, OK 74953, several years ago published a series of these early cemeteries in eastern Oklahoma. You might write them for information on the volumes. Volume 13 covers some of the LeFlore Co. cemeteries, including Skullyville begun in about 1830; however, there seem to be few of the early graves marked. Also, the Bryan Co. Heritage Assn. Inc., has published several volumes of Bryan Co. , OK, cemeteries. I have Vol. IV, which covers the Pioneer Cemetery and Highland Cemetery in Durant, OK. They also have published two volumes with the Choctaw Emigration Records 1831-1856. Hope this helps! pattyg74056@cs.com

    3. The deal is that her grave is unmarked. I know that she is there as I have her death certificate. I am currently looking for her connections to the Choctaw. Her sister Mary married a Richard Wright. Her brother "Bud" married a Lottie Brown but that is about all the info I have. Supposed to have sisters named Pamela and Victoria also but I have had no luck finding any other information. I do encounter many names that people ask about but I also come up dry with Goss a lot too. Nevertheless, I think it is an invaluable tool to use, especially if we are related to many Choctaw who are potentially on the rolls. John Craven New Orleans
