    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: graham Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4gC.2ACE/994 Message Board Post: My gggggrandfather was James Graham, shown in the 1850 Clarke County, Mississippi, census. He was born in 1814 in Alabama according to that census. Though I know very little about him, his grandaughter Columbia Graham who was my gggrandmother was said, by family tradition, to be Native American or mostly Native American, a tradition of which my family is very proud. However, we have never been able to substantiate the tradition. Can anyone suggest a way for me to try to verify this? Does anyone have James Graham on a list for their family or anything? I have a significant amount of information on Columbia Graham's descendants should anyone be interested and I would be more than happy to share it.

    3. Is he interested in genealogy, Carol? Cousins and I are wondering when and why the Perrys, Bentleys and Anne Marie Maurer LeFlore moved to Rush Springs. Go to: http://www.google.com Type Adolphus Edward "Dynamite Ed" Perry and there's an interesting story about Carrie and Ed plus 22 "volumes" of letters she wrote Anne Marie while Carrie and Ed toured "the Continent". Coalgate is mentioned, but not Rush Springs.
