    3. The following site has some information online on censuses before 1800 under the Spanish. Some of the families who intermarry within the Choctaw nation show up on some of the pages. The information is under British/Spanish records. The Washington County page at rootsweb has also added some records. Jen http://www.trackingyourroots.com/

    3. The next place to look may be the 1885 Choctaw Census information, it is available here http://www.choctaw-web.com/ Then you may try to look on the Armstrong rolls, they are available in the American State Papers, Vol 7, at most libraries. You can try and get the application packet copies, there may be information in them, to order them, you order from the Texas Nara. If you go to www.nara.gov, the instructions should be there. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Jfrbol@aol.com> To: <CHOCTAW-SOUTHEAST-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, October 10, 2002 8:12 PM Subject: [CHOCTAW-SE] CDIB card > My niece has her CDIB card, and she wants to trace her ancestors.
