The further I went into the files, I came upon a whole list of Breshears names-some spelled differently-but still Breshears-it was on a page "INDIAN RECORDS OF THE 5 TRIBES-DAWES ROLLS-(possibly)?????????? Both of my parents were extremely compassionate of the Amercian Indian-I have always been equally so-When I cam upon the info that stated I might possible be part Indian-I was ecstatic!!!!!!!!!!I just don't know where to email or call or write--to get more info-to see if I am-My ancestor names appeared directly before the Berry M. Breshears born around 1793-I amdirectly descended from Nathan Turner Breshears and I have followed him back further, but cannot find my papers at this moment. I just want to know if there is a chance and of so help connect up-Any info would be so grately appreciated........... Thank you...........jan

    2. My grandfather always said he was born in Hannibal, MO. I got a copy of his original application for his social security card - it showed Illinois! I found a website online for Illinois where you could view so much. I found where my grreat grandfather and grandmother where they registered for a marriage license. Website also had info where you could order a copy of it, so I did. It showed his father's name and his mother's maiden name and that my great grandfather was from England. Carol

    2. I enjoy it! I recently found my the name of my great great grandfather. I was excited because no one knows much about that side of the family(Hedges) and I found out my great grandfather was from England! Brother: Conner Rhoads married Fannie Lockler - 8/16/05 in Bryan County probably Kemp. Sister: Mrs. J. O. Cockerham living in Achilles, OK in 1950. Rhoads family is thought to be of Indian descent.
