Hey Lori, A female Willoughby married a Newton and Willoughby Newton was a surveyor I kept coming across in New England when searching my husband's Newton's in the early 1990's. If you have a Newton in your line, I may have something to share. Since I have neither Angie Debo nor H.B. Cushman's books, I cannot comment on what they said about 'reservations'. I do, however, have 4 pages copied from Cushman's book, published in the 1800s, about the LeFlore family and those pages are full of mistakes. Your local library would surely have something more up-to-date than Cushman's observations on 'reservations'.
