    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4gC.2ACE/1413 Message Board Post: My great-great grandparents, Willis and Angeline Mann were native americans, Willis being from the Choctaw tribe. I cannot find their parents names. No on still living knows or is too elderly to use their mind normally anymore. On the 1870 Marengo County, Dayton Post Office area AL census list, Willis was 21 yrs old married to a woman named Jane. Willis and Angeline are shown with their family on the 1910 Sumter County, Black Bluff precint census list. Willis was born about 1850 in Choctaw County and died in 1952 in Green County. Angeline was born about 1877 in that area of AL (Choctaw, Sumter, Marengo, Green Counties) and died about 1925 in what was Black Bluff, Sumter County AL. The towns that existed then are on a 1910 map I found, but not on any of today's maps. If anyone knows if they had ancestors who lived in the mid 1800s that had a son named Willis Mann and/or a daughter named Angeline who married Willis Mann, or had friends who knew them (in Black Bluff the! re is a family of Wards also listed on the 1910 Sumter County/Black Bluff census listing, and there are Wards in my family from that area in AL) please post and/or email me.
