My mother in law always insisted she was 1/8 Choctaw, but she didn't have any names. Her ggrandparents were Caroline and Henry Shoptaugh from Spencer county, IN. I was about to give up the search for the Native American blood when I spotted your message. Can you shed any light on this claim that there is a Choctaw in the Shoptaugh lineage? Thanks
