It reads as follows: We traced our ancestory to Claiborn Brogdon married to Mary Jane Ryan in Limestone County Alabama. The had daughter Missouri Jane who was presumably largely Choctow. If Claiborn was son of the line of John Brogdons from England (traders with the Chocotaw Nation), we are seeking information to clarify the link with the Choctaw nation. It appears that the Brogdon neighbors in Alabama were farmers, and tribal members.
