It gave me answers to my search for Jerry Williams b 1892 whose original name was Elijah Crabtree. His change is names was not known but attributed to his becoming a U.S. Marshall later in life. The information I had on Jerry Williams came from his Granddaughter. Let me know if you have any alternate info.
