Margaret Durant married Eli Crowder. Her father was Louis Durant and her mother was Itchooluna, not Shi Na Ya. Margaret's sister was Syllan Durant Taylor, and her brothers were Louis, Pierre and Charles. I am a descendent of this line through Syllan Durant Taylor. Her daughter Elizabeth Taylor was my grgrgrandmother who first married Joseph Couvey and latter Drury Arrington. Have more on this line if you are interested. Also have some information about their service in the War of 1812 and some information about Eli Crowder. Have seen Margaret's grave in Attala County, MS.
