If you do, in fact, have all these "original papers", then you would be doing everyone a service by donating them to the NARA (National Archives and Records Administration). They would be more than thrilled to have them, and it would help out many good folks who may be in search of the very documentation that you have. Contact the NARA in Fort Worth, Texas, where most all the tribal documentation for the five "civilized" resides. BTW, if any of you have not been there, you should go. Amazing stuff. I found out that I was not JUST Choctaw but, because the NARA has all the Dawes Commission stuff, not just the Dawes Rolls, but all the documentation leading up to the Dawes Rolls, such as the full notes of all the hearings and the testimony of all the witnesses.
