As a proud Choctaw, I figure this man must have been a tacky racist white toad not worthy of her nor his heritage. I only wish I could claim an even higher degree of heritage than what I have I through no effort of my own. My great grandmother Julia Ann Turnbull Flinchum was a full blood. I still "figure" with a healthy basis of facts to go on that this wild country was ultimately won by it's females by sheer grit, determination and backbones of steel.
