Jacob Daniel. Jacob Daniel wrote a letter near Jone's Bluff, Sumpter, county Alabama, Sept, 29, 1833, in it he stated he had been a citizen for twelve years and more and had served three years and five months as a regular soldier for the U. S. army. At the time he entered his name to be a citizen of the U. S. he had a wife and four small children, he had one more son his first born but didn't not enter his name at the time as he was not under his roof but at the Choctaw academy in Kentucky. He was asking for in getting his son on the list of names because of this over site. He also wanted to know if his brother-in-law, Antoio Parish's was on the list of names. Mushulatubbe District no.2-Mississippi Jacob Daniel had 16, acres cultivated out of 160, he had a family of 7, he had 4, children under 10, years. The locality of his farm was near the factory and has a half negro and half Indian wife. He had entered his name on July 5, 1831. Hogan Jones had no family he is listed as a family of one, he is a orphan boy, with no land, it's not stated where he was living but his name is on the list. John Jones Sr. had 20 acres out of 320 cultivated had a family of four, three males over sixteen years. He had three slaves and his farm was six miles from the factory and had good land. Robert Jones Sr. had no land had a family of two, one over male over sixteen years. Although he had no land he was provided for in the treaty. Samuel Jones Sr. had 40 acres out of 480 cultivated is shows no family, he had four slaves and the farm was two miles from the factory. He had died some time after the treaty the land is now occupied by his son an heir.
