Gerry, Could you provide me with the information on Eden Gooding and Laura Ashford Nelson. I've always suspected that Mary Arminda Nelson may have been a tribe other than Cherokee as she and her husband spoke three NA languages fluently and interpreted for the tribes at some point. Also I have a lot of copies of Nelsons in the Dawes census cards and on rolls. If I can be of any help to you with your Nelsons, please let me know. Thanks so much for all the help.
