Still looking for Ophelia "Orpie" TAYLOR who was born abt 1834 in MS. She was ½ Choctaw Indian. She married Neal McFARLAND or McFARLAIN on Nov 29,1852 in Ashley CO, AR. Neal was born abt 1824 in SC. They moved to the Indian Territory (I.T.) some time after 1853 and bef 1896. They had one known daughter named Nancy "Nannie" on Oct 1853 in AR, possibly Ashley CO. Orpie and Neal are listed as dead on the 1896 Choctaw Census and as last living in Blue CO, I.T (Bryan CO, OK). SECOND GENERATION Nancy "Nannie" McFARLAND married several times. She first married at 14 in abt 1868 to a Charlie McKINNEY. This marriage didn't last long. I then find Nancy married to a William WOMACK who was born bet 1841-1846 in TN or OH (I have papers showing both states, but I lean toward TN). They married bef 1871 in AR possibly Ashley or Chicot CO. They had the following known children; William "Willie"-1871, Ida-1873, George-1875, Lee-1878, Ada-1880, Jennie-1883, Henry-1885 and Cobbie-1887. The children were all born in the I.T. (OK) possibly the Le Flore Co area. Several of their sons died young. William Sr died abt 1888 in Skullyville CO, I.T. (Le Flore, CO, OK). Nancy remarried after William's death to a Ben THOMPSON in abt 1888. She had two daughters with Ben named; Mary or Minnie - abt 1893 and Bessie or Betty - b 1896. Nancy states that Ben took the girls away with him and divorced her in abt 1898 and that he remarried a white woman in the Red River area. Then Nancy married Henry NICHOLS in 1899 in Skullyville, I.T. This marriage didn't last but about a year. And finally Nancy married Joe CROWLEY in Dec of 1900. This is all I have on my TAYLORs.
