My husband's great- grandfather was a member of the Choctaw Nation from Miss. However, his great-grandfather died before any of the later rolls. He went to Indian Terr. after the Civil War when Miss. wanted the Choctaws out of Miss. Have proof of great grandfather in Ok. Archives...but that is all. Is that enough to be considered Choctaw? What percent can you claim on the Census?? Or do we just do what on the census? At 10:18 PM 2/15/00 -0600, you wrote: >Unfortunately it is a matter of honor.
