When searching for my grandfather, James (Jim) Anderson, I sent for an application for Choctaw tribal membership circa 1896. It wasn't my James (Jim) Anderson -- the Jim Anderson in the papers I received was a Jim who was age 24 in 1896 and son of Tom and Sine Anderson, living in Carthage, Leake County. If anyone is looking for these Andersons, let me know.
