    1. Re: [CHOCTAW] Anderson family of Carthidge MS
    2. I found a J. W. Anderson on the 1885 Choctaw Census, Kiamitia County. It is as follows: J. W. Anderson, age 30, Male, white, 2 acres under cultivation, 8 hogs, 2 bales of cotton, 80 bushels of corn, and he is a Choctaw Citizen by marriage. He should have a roll number. The rest of his family is: Patsy Anderson age 28, female, Indian, Margaret Anderson, age 9, female, Indian, James Anderson 5, male Indian, Mary Anderson age 3, female, Indian. On the Register of Choctaw Emigrants to the West 1831 and 1832, Vol. No. 3, 1832. There is a Daniel Anderson age 23, 5 feet 8 inches , male. Ihlepa, 22, 5 feet 5 inches, female. Amos Anderson 4yrs. 3 feet (cannot read the inches) and male. Ulyses age 3, 2 feet 6 inches, male. Christy age 2, 2 feet 4 inches, male. Noel age 1, 1 ft. 6 inches male. George 1/12 (1 month) 1 ft. 2 inches, male. There are more names but I don't know if this is one family but here are the names: Ishmehake, age 20, five feet two inches, female. Onanche age 50, five feet four inches male. Stinchrami (very hard to read writing) age five, three feet six inches male. Stubba age 18 five feet 6 inches, male. That is all I have so far..I do have a lot of interviews that were given by some Anderson's if you are interested in those, let me know. Lynda C. LBCane@aol.com
