I have both Criders and Austins on my "Cathey" side of my family. Some seem to be cousins...strange enough when I was growing up here in Calif, I had some friends who were Criders & Austins, and they were cousins, but I did not know they might be mine also???? If you would like I can look up this line of Catheys and give you some names..... Now, Im not sure if the have any Native american connection, most of my Catheys do not...that is an old family of English/Scotts. Except for a family I found married into a family named "Hawk" I am not sure who the Hawks were, but it sounded NA.
