I have a bad habit of using the word America Indian. I am married to a "Native American" and he isn't affended by the term American Indian. I Understand why there could be people offended but I also think that it has alot to do with the way that it is used. I am very proud of my husband's hertiage which is also my childrens. They will be marked as native American on the census report. If I use the term American Indian on this list please don't think of it in a negative way. I by no way mean to be offensive. I am still trying to figure out what the heck I am!!!! Lisa Colbert
