You're right, Nalora, also, in the 1930s there were communities of homes built in Eastern Oklahoma that were called reservations. One such "reservation" was built between McCurtain and Red Oak. The houses were built in a particular style, square with a high pitched hip roof and had a chimney in the peak of the roof that could vent any of the four rooms. They were called "reservation" houses. By the 50s many of the houses had been moved through out the area. They may have been built by the WPA.
