His family was George McDaniels and Betsy McKinny..Betsy was the 1st cousin to Siamon Lewis, who later became a Choctaw Judge.. Jackolines sister Mary Ann Meeks married Toms brother Jeanett... I have records of a Murder of Able Chico (an Indian) that took place in 1879 in the nation..Tom and Jeanette, along with Jeff and Bill Meeks, also Britt Willis , Amos Willis and a Brown Thompson were wanted...They never went to trial....Tom and Jeanette were also wanted for a Assault ,with intent to kill in 1875... Can you tell me would there be any records that the Indians mite have in thier nation ...on these men? .Tom McDaniels was later killed and was buired in Fort Smith,Ar.. THe family said He was shot off his horse at a Indian Stomp dance....I can go understand why they would take him from the nation and bury him in Fort Smith...Can you help me or direct to some one that may...Do you have any ideas on this ....My Jackoline Meeks McDaniels Meek Cousin married into the Colbert and Folsum Family...His name was Henry Meeks..He married Betsy Jeffers...He was also killed in Bryan Co.Ok. I am 66 years old ....and I have this childhood memory of the word "Hotubes."
