Hello I am new to the list. I haven't been able to find my people who are said to be Cherokee, so I thought I would ck out Choctaw and others. I noticed the below Patton's now that is one of my surnames. Were these 2 Choctaw? My Patton line is said to be Indian but they were from TN so thought they were Cherokee.
