Seems like we keep finding each other! LOL I too have been looking for an elusive relative. Demps Brown my gg-grandfather. Loads of Browns out there but haven't located him yet. When my family informed me we were NA they said Cherokee. But as I've perused maps & info online I've determined the geography of Indian Territory at the time indicates Choctaw. I'd like to make a road trip down to Stigler & Whitefield,OK to dig around & see what I can turn up... Good luck in your search too! gfaye
