Hello researchers,, If some of your family fought during the Civil War in Indian Territory as soldiers in the US Indian Home Guards, I have posted 3 pages, Dischareges, Pension Applications and Pensions of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Indian Home Guards. These were taken from the Cherokee Adovocate, Jan. 14, 1871. The information was donated to the site, Civil War In Indian Territory by Ms. Nita Justice.
