Hello all, I am gFaye, live in former Indian Territory & am looking for information on my great grandmother's family. Her parents Lyda Fergeson & Demps Brown (talk about a needle in a haystack!) had 3 children: Bertha Brown Jasper Brown Maude REgina Brown b 9-27-1882 Indian Territory d 12-1-1968 Van Buren,Ar m-Willis Abby Kelley don't really know what year yet Maude is my g-grandmother, (family says Cherokee but when I think if you're born on the banks of the Canadian River,Indian Territory 1882 & siblings,Bertha & Jasper Brown lived in Stigler & WHitefield,Oklahoma it leads me to believe, based on geography, that it may be Choctaw... gFaye in TULSA
