Lori, my parents both got a delayed birth certificate. They didn't have to produce their parents marriage license (both sets of parents were dead) they had to have notorized affidavits from 3 people each, that knew when they were born. A great Uncle got one and one of his proofs was a bible record. His parents had did in 1917 & 18. I would call again. BTW, this was OK. All 3 of them were Cherokee lines.
