If you go almost to the bottom of this web page, it will give you the books that he has done and the price. Vol 5 is the one that has these people mentioned at length. Harley Anders is an excellent researcher and is from the Brashear/Vaughn/Buckholtz line and has added great information to this book. I cannot remember all the names and/or dates/locations etc., but they are all answered in this book. Most researches with whom I have come in contact use the spelling Goins and some even Gains. You might check that spelling rather than Guynes. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. As a proud Choctaw, I figure this man must have been a tacky racist white toad not worthy of her nor his heritage. I only wish I could claim an even higher degree of heritage than what I have I through no effort of my own. My great grandmother Julia Ann Turnbull Flinchum was a full blood. I still "figure" with a healthy basis of facts to go on that this wild country was ultimately won by it's females by sheer grit, determination and backbones of steel. She and her husband can be found in the book "A Brashear(s) Family History, Vol. 5" Elizabeth is the one with the Choctaw heritage. Charles Brashear put together a great book on this family. Charles Brashear, 26 Tiffany Place, Santa Rosa, CA 95409 is the address in the book. If you do not get a reply from that address, let me know and I will give you another address. The book is well worth the money for anyone with this line. Marlene Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. It has some information and even includes Red Turkey. The person that is listed as the submitter of the info does not know anything else about this database except that she submitted it to the FamilySearch.org. I hope this helps. If you do, in fact, have all these "original papers", then you would be doing everyone a service by donating them to the NARA (National Archives and Records Administration). They would be more than thrilled to have them, and it would help out many good folks who may be in search of the very documentation that you have. Contact the NARA in Fort Worth, Texas, where most all the tribal documentation for the five "civilized" resides. BTW, if any of you have not been there, you should go. Amazing stuff. I found out that I was not JUST Choctaw but, because the NARA has all the Dawes Commission stuff, not just the Dawes Rolls, but all the documentation leading up to the Dawes Rolls, such as the full notes of all the hearings and the testimony of all the witnesses.
