I was wondering if any of you have information on a Choctaw Chief named Mushulatubbe and his daughter Susan King who married William Cooper who was born around 1800. I was Use to hear my father tell stories about a Chief on his mothers side of the family and wondered if he might be related to my grandmothers family of Choctaw Coopers who are all on the Rolls. If anyone can tell me any kind of information about this, it would be greatly apreciated. It's a shot in the dark, but for all I know they may be related. I am looking for Ophelia (Orpha, Orpie) TAYLOR b-abt 1836 in MS. She married a Neil (Neal) McFARLAND who was born abt 1832 in SC. They married in 1852 in Ashley CO, AR (the CO. next to Chicot).. I find Neal living in Chicot CO, AR in 8-10-1850 where he owed some land. I only know of one child that they had together but believe they did have more children. Their daughter Nancy "Nannie" McFARLAND was born in Oct 1852 in AR, probable Ashley or Chicot CO. Before 1866 they moved to Blue (Bryan) CO, OK where Nancy married. In the 1896 Choctaw Census Nancy states that both her parents had died in Blue CO, OK (Bryan CO) before 1896. If you believe Ophelia could be one of your ancestors, please contact me.
