    3. Barbara, I had a addy for the list of Intruders in the Choctaw Nation. Tried to go to it and it indicates that the page is no longer there. Tried pulling it up on alltheweb. No luck. Tried to access it through GenWebOK. No longer able to. Not sure if I ever printed it out. Will search tomorrow to see if I did. 2. Barbara, If you happen to find such information on line, I would love to know where it is at also. As far as I know my GGGGrandfather, William D. Irwin, either was full choctaw or was a white settler who had 2 wifes, 1 white and 1 a choctaw women.. I haven't found any good proof of either but photo's show he is not full white and that he does have indian blood in him.. I know for sure my grandfather was 1/2 white and 1/2 choctaw.. So please.. if any of you know where information like this can be found.. I would also be greatful for the help in finding it.. Jennifer S. Irwin

    2. Gerald Huckins
    3. It is not the exact name that you are searching. There is an Amelia Nelson b. 1890 it has her as 3/4 Choctaw. The Nelsons are related by the marriage of Laura [Ashford] Nelson. She married Eden Nelson who passed away and she married my gradfather Davis Miller. 3. Gerry, Could you provide me with the information on Eden Gooding and Laura Ashford Nelson. I've always suspected that Mary Arminda Nelson may have been a tribe other than Cherokee as she and her husband spoke three NA languages fluently and interpreted for the tribes at some point. Also I have a lot of copies of Nelsons in the Dawes census cards and on rolls. If I can be of any help to you with your Nelsons, please let me know. Thanks so much for all the help. 3. This may be a possibility as my gg uncle who is the only one to remember Mary Arminda Nelson's mother's surname wants *nothing* to do with any Indian heritage. He swears that its Armstrong, but who knows. He's just cranky enough to say anything to keep it from being known. I'm open to any possibility. Could you provide me the info you have on Tom Greenlee Ashford and Virginia Airington? I'd really appreciate it. If you're searching for others on the Dawes rolls let me know and I'll check them out for you next time I'm at the National Archives (probably in 2 weeks). Send me a list of names you want. Thanks again, Sue Reed Carl Phillips wrote: > Was she any relation to Tom Greenlee Ashford? He married Virginia Airington in Indian Territory. 3. I don't believe that this is my line, but who knows since I have so little info to go on. LOL I have a number of census records for Nelsons from all the civilized tribes. If I can look up anything for you on your line, please let me know. I'd be happy to do so. 3. I have some information on Eden Gooding and Laura[Ashford] Nelson. Eden was a full blood Choctaw if this is your line email me at geraldhuckins@proaxis.com I just went back and checked the family tree that I have and I see no Youngs. This goes back to some Nelsons in 1890. Laura [Ashford] Nelson/Miller was my grandmother. She married Davis Miller, when Eden passed away.
