    2. In answer to your question about J.W. Anderson being the same as J. Anderson I don't know...will have to dig deeper, I think maybe look into some of the 1900 Oklahoma State Census..I might order the Anderson Soundex for 1900 -1910 and 1920 Okla. They or some of them should be in these Census. Does your J. Anderson have a Choctaw fly. Census no.? Lynda C. LBCane@aol.com

    3. Gene and list, Here is the site http://www.nara.gov/nara/fortwor.html Scroll down the page to Dawes Case files. It gives you all the information you need here. I e-mailed my request and asked them to call me for my credit card number. I received it within two weeks of my request. Feel free to e-mail me if you have more questions! Kelli P.S. I've heard that some of the packets are empty b/c files were lost. And also heard that full blood Indians don't have anything in their packets as well. But this is all hear-say.

    3. I need HELP. I am trying to find out something about full blood Choctaw Indian Adam(s) J. Wilkins b.1882. He was murdered in Leflore Co. Okla., between Howe and Heavener, May 26, 1920. He was killed near the railroad tracks and his body placed on the tracks to make people think he had been hit by a train. He was an Indian policeman and well known and liked in the area. I know 3 people were arrested, his widow Liffie (Moore), Harrison Humpheries and a man named Perry. Perry was cleared but I do not know about the others. I can find no record of them ever being arrested except in old newspapers. Can anyone help? THANKS.
