    3. By the age listed on the info. I sent you, you should be able to determine the approximate date of birth. The Dawes Rolls were done 1898 through 1906, with additional enrollees added about 1914. If I am wrong, someone correct me. As for address, all those listed on the Dawes Rolls were in Oklahoma. Did your Lula live in Oklahoma. If she did, then he next step would be to order copies of her enrollment packet from the Choctaw Tribal Office in Durant, Okla. I believe someone previously today put up the telephone number. Her packet should contain numerous documents that will help you identify that particular Lula. There is usually a fee, and be prepared for a LONG wait. sherry dustyc@microgear.net -----Original Message----- From: DollBarron@aol.com <DollBarron@aol.com> To: CHOCTAW-L@rootsweb.com <CHOCTAW-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Friday, February 11, 2000 5:31 PM Subject: Re: [CHOCTAW] ANDERSON FAMILY >thanks for the information on Lula Caldwell. 2. Kathleen A good suggestion is to start with our own Choctaw homepage http://freepages.cultures.rootsweb.com/~choctaw/ If you browse thru that you will find the page of Ruthie Imes who has some good information on Choctaw genealogy: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Prairie/2765/ Jami In a message dated 2/11/2000 7:35:06 PM Central Standard Time, james@moment.net writes: << Where would I look to find out if this is my David Anderson? >>

    1. [CHOCTAW] NONA ANDERSON
    2. Kathy, I think I might have found your Nona..but there is a lot of information that needs to be typed...are you sure she was born in 1885..the one that I found was born in or about 1888 and that is just too close....the only thing is her father was Solomon Anderson and Susan Bohanan nee Benton...I can decipher all this for you.... will take a while because there is a lot of info on this Census Card. I'll send it to you tomorrow..gotta jett and fix supper...LBCane@aol.com

    1. [CHOCTAW] David Anderson
    2. Kathleen There is a David Anderson listed in the 1855 Choctaw Nation census Wade County: DAVID ANDERSON Eliza, Lucy, Elay, Sarah Ann, Sil. That is all the info I have on a David Anderson. They or some of them should be in these Census. Does your J. Anderson have a Choctaw fly. Census no.? Lynda C. LBCane@aol.com >> Lynda I think we have some confusion here. I sent you the roll numbers of J. W. Anderson and his family and asked you if he was the same J. Anderson that you had found on the 1885 Choctaw Census, Kiamitia County. He is. I think what really threw me off was that you have Andersons and I didn't remember our corresponding about them. We are related thru the Spring line; your ancestor Lucinda is a sister to my Levi Spring. At this point I don't think our Andersons are related. Your J. W. Anderson was Choctaw by marriage while the Andersons connected to the Spring and Bohanan family where 1/2 Choctaw or more. Jami
