Syed Janoodullah migrated from Kashgar, China to Qadian, India in 1938 with his sister Farukh Khanum and older brother Hakeem Syed Aalay Ahmad (who later returned home to Kashgar during the partition of India and Pakistan). I also know that my grandfather was married in Kashgar and did have children whom he had left behind.
