Lester, It is obvious you have been doing this for a while. Maybe you direct me. I am searching for my husbands ancestors. They are Hakka, came from Pukak Village, Bao On District of Guangdong, China. The first to leave came to Hawaii about 1870. He was a merchant who made many trips back home. He had a thriving business in Maui. His name, known to us, was Fung, Bow Kee. His wife, only known as Ah Sam Moi, aka Heu Shee Fung, came from Wah Tong Village, Bao On District of Guangdong, China. According to a death certificate she was born February 27, 1869. I do not know where to start. Any ideas are highly appreciated.
