Would like to know which year is correct. St. Eugene Church in St. Eugene, Ontario lists date of death of his father as April 11, 1861, which would give credence to this date. However, William's age as stated in the 1910 Michigan Census for Chippewa County, Dafter Township and his death certificate would make his DOB 1866. His daughter said he lied about his age in order to appear younger for some unknown legal reason. Would also like to know name of his twin brother and the date and place of birth of his children, Wilfred and Eda, both between 1892 and 1898.
