It was in infact my Great Great Grandfather "Kiel Lewis" who was born in China! Also "Louis Kiel Lewis" was married to "Alberta Ross Hovell", they married in 1914. "Alberta" is either the daughter or granddaughter of the Australian explorer "Captain William Hilton Hovell". "Louis" was married previously and was widowed, My family seem to think that his previous wife may have been Chinese? "Louis" also travelled extensively to and from China, as he owned a few Rice Plantations/fields. I also know that he was in the Chinese Army, as my Grandmother remember's seeing Photographs of her father in his uniform! Any information about "Louis Kiel Lewis" or his father "Kiel Lewis" would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you for your patience.
