Higgs, was killed Oct. 20, 1945 while flying bankers from Shanghai to Canton China. The plane crashed into a mountain on the first commercial flight following the war. During the war he flew supplies over the "Hump" for the Chinese National Aviation Corp. I would like to see an article from a newspaper about this accident if there is one.
