I'm looking for the Jiapu and other family tree information for the Liu clan of the Taishan area in Guangdong province in China. Respond to ALee1@bessd.dhs.state.hi.us Thanks.
John -- I found this in a website, and hope that it might answer your questions -- it seems that it was part of China, but had a very large Russian population.... http://www.comptons.com/encyclopedia/ARTICLES/0075/00817920_A.html "Recorded history of Harbin dates back to 1097. A small fishing village before 1896, it grew with the construction of the Chinese Eastern Railway by the Russians. After the Russo-Japanese War in 1904-05, Harbin was jointly administered by China and Japan. It was a haven for Russian refugees after the Revolution of 1917 and became for a time the largest Russian city outside the Soviet Union. During the time Japan dominated Manchuria, calling it Manchukuo from 1932 to 1945, Harbin was known as Pinkiang. Soviet troops occupied the city in 1945, and the following year Chinese Communist forces gained control. Population (1989 estimate), 2,930,000. " If you have any other questions, let me know. Just ran across this but thought I would try an answer even though your message is not recent. Oscar Soehner of Dayton was my husband's grandfather and has been deceased for quite sometime. Darke, Miami, Mercer and Auglaize are all Ohio counties. Hope this helps.
LYDIA GRIGOREVNA KLIMOVITCH [ Maiden name SEREBRIAKOVA ] was born in HARBIN 17th August 1918. Question:- In 1918 was Harbin part of China or Russia? Either way could somebody assist with a URL or E-mail address that I can use to start tracing her forebears. Regards John Meagher New Zealand

Dear Mr Limcolioc, It's been a long time. I was wondering if you are also doing a research on the Limcolioc family. Maybe you are also interested in doing a family tree. I am ,but I can't find much sources to start my project. There's no one I can ask about the family .Most of my relatives on this side of the family migrated already to other countries, and the ones left are too young to know any info on the family history. My e-mail add is gilbertdennis_cruz@yahoo.com. Hoping to hear from you. Good day sir.
hello to you I am also a danenberg though I am an Israeli.
Hi, I am looking for any information at all on John Park ( English I beleave ) and Mary Lee from Canton. One of their children was called Henry Samuel Richard Park born 4. 5. 1861, He came to Australia about 1885. Now his name in China ( well could be anything ), but I have been told it could be Chow Bark that is if I have got the spelling right. On Henry's marriage certificate it said father John Park deceased, mother Mary Lee, fathers profession postmaster. I would appreciate any help and guidance anybody can give me.
