    2. Judy Hall
    3. Hi I'm looking for help with the following very elusive fellow, Gee KEUR, who later changed his name to John GEE. His son's birth certificate shows Gee KEUR was born in China in 1832. I have been told Gee KEUR is a Dutch name. I wondered if he was born on a trading vessel and the nearest port of call was China?? His children are all named after his wife's side of the family so that is of no help to giving an idea of the name of his parents. The next I know of him is that he married in 1858 in Queensland, Australia. Even the place he and his wife were living at and married in is proving elusive. Over the last 20 years I have asked many people in Ipswich, where I live, about the Belle Vesta (where Gee KEUR was married and lived) and no-one has heard of it. I have searched land records, etc - all to no avail. Has anyone any links or ideas? Regards Judy My GEE line *Gee KEUR b 1832 China (later became John GEE) married Hephzibah ROBINSON b CAM, ENG at the Belle Vesta, near Ipswich, Qld, AUS 11 March 1858 Children: 1. 2. Jenny Gray
    3. Hello, Could someone help me find further information for the following people please? Jürgen Wissing, born 22nd January 1904 in China Anna Wissing, born 15th December 1905 in China. Their parents were Paul Christian Wissing, born 12th June 1866 in Aabenraa Denmark, and Ingeborg Elise Hoirup, born 17th July 1869 in Haderslev Denmark. I believe Paul Christian Wissing may have died in China some time after his daughter's birth. His parents were Jürgen Wissing and Agnete Outzen/Autzen, both born in Denmark. Would the children have been given Chinese citizenship? I do not know exactly where the children were born in China, but hope someone can help. Thank you. Jenny Australia
